Defending Individuals Who Have Been Sued

Often in employment litigation, managers and employees are sued in their individual capacities. In certain cases, ethical rules prevent one law firm from defending both the company and the manager or employee. In these circumstances, Altus Law Firm may represent the individual to protect his or her interests.

Negotiating Employment Contracts and Severance Agreements

Altus Law Firm also represents executives and other employees in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, severance agreements and change of control agreements.  The Irvine firm also represents individuals negotiating independent contractor agreements.
